I had just gone through a divorce after 24 years of marriage, my health was declining as I battled mental illness, and it seemed as though everything around me was falling apart. In the midst of the confusion, loneliness, and brokenness, I felt distant from God—even though deep inside, I longed to find my way back to Him.
This song is my honest prayer of repentance, surrender, and hope. It is the cry of a heart that has discovered that no matter how far we wander or how difficult life becomes, God's love continues to call us home. He never stopped reaching for me, even when I felt I couldn't reach Him.
